1. General Rule
Refunds of amounts already paid are generally excluded once the booked service has commenced or access to digital content has been activated. This applies in particular to:
- online training programmes and certification programmes (e.g. CFC Practitioner, EDPlay Facilitator, Management Trainer),
- licences (e.g. ColorFlowCycle™, EDPlay™),
- digital products, downloads and manuals,
- memberships, courses and live sessions,
- software access or system activations.
2. Early Activation of Digital Content
For digital content that is activated immediately after payment, the right of withdrawal expires upon commencement of performance in accordance with Section 356 (5) of the German Civil Code (BGB). A refund after activation is not possible.
Prior to activation, you therefore confirm during the ordering process:
“I expressly agree that performance of the contract shall begin before expiry of the withdrawal period.
I am aware that, upon commencement of performance, I lose my right of withdrawal.”
3. Cancellation Prior to Activation
If withdrawal or cancellation occurs before the start of use or activation, payments already made will be refunded within 14 days, less a processing fee of EUR 50 (administration, payment providers, course place reservation).
4. Ongoing Memberships
Monthly cancellable memberships (e.g. community subscriptions) may be terminated at any time at the end of the current billing period. A pro rata refund of amounts already paid is excluded.
5. Seminars and On-Site Events
The following cancellation conditions apply to on-site events:
- up to 30 days before the start: refund less a 10% administrative fee,
- up to 14 days before the start: 50% refund,
- from 13 days before the start: no refund possible.
Cancellations must be made in writing (by email to hello@deepthinkhuman.com).
Rebooking to a later date may be possible in exceptional cases, subject to availability.
6. Technical Disruptions
If a technical defect or platform outage (MemberPress, BuddyBoss, Stripe) prevents you from using the booked service, the provider will restore access without delay or offer a replacement service. A right to a refund exists only if the service cannot ultimately be provided.
7. Exceptional Cases
In cases of hardship (e.g. illness, death of a close relative, prolonged incapacity for work), a partial refund or credit may be granted as a gesture of goodwill. A written request with supporting documentation must be submitted to contact@deepthinkhuman.com.
8. Refund Processing
Refunds are generally made using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction. Processing takes place within 14 days after written confirmation of entitlement.
